FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. When are you open?
A. The warehouse is open Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Q. How old do you have to be to volunteer?
A. All ages are welcome. We do ask that children 16 years of age or under be accompanied by an adult.
Q. Do you need to have volunteer experience?
A. No, you don’t need to have prior experience volunteering to work with Caring 4 Kids Foundation.
Q. May a person with a disability volunteer?
A. Certainly. All abilities are welcome.
Q. When do you require volunteers?
A. In general, we request volunteers on Wednesdays beginning at 1 p.m., Thursdays beginning at 1 p.m. and Fridays beginning at 9 a.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Rachel Sneed at Rachel@caring4kidsfoundation to secure your time.
Q. May I make a donation?
A. Certainly! We accept all forms of payment, credit cards are processed through the website “Donate” button.
Q. May I donate food?
A. Certainly! We ask that you donate only the food on our specific list. The list was created to ensure our children can open the items easily and that they will not spoil.
Q. How many children do you feed each week?
A. We feed more than 480 children during the 9-month school year and more than 100 during the 12-month school year summer break.
Q. Do you work with THREE SQUARE?
A. Caring 4 Kids Foundation and THREE SQUARE are community partners; however, we do not utilize their supplies.
Q. Does your organization plan to grow?
A. Yes, we do. The goal of Founder Scott Sullivan has always been to create Caring 4 Kids Foundation in additional cities. |
