Southwest Airlines - Newest Community Partner

Caring 4 Kids Foundation will never "Wanna Get Away" from the amazing partnership they have forged with Southwest Airlines.  This community-minded company has begun to graciously donate their unused snack items to our cause.  Their initial donation, facilitated by Cathy Schumacher Wescott, consisted of more than 600 full-sized snack packs of Ritz cheese and crackers. Remember to visit www.southwest.com for all of your air transportation needs.

President Obama Calls to You!

Since his Inauguration, the President of the United States of America has called on all Americans to serve our communities and be a part of building a better future for our country. And given this unique moment in our history with the unprecedented challenges we are facing, there isn't a more important time than now for us to get involved.

That is why today, June 17, 2009,  the President is announcing United We Serve -- a call to action for all Americans to volunteer this summer and be part of building a new foundation for America, one community at a time.

Get Involved Today by signing up to volunteer or by donating through our site.

TESTIMONIALS :
I believe that by feeding a child, we feed our own spirit, we strengthen everyone's future, and we model what we are hoping to teach. I urge you to show that indeed this grassroots model can make a difference in any city, for any children, for all who participate.
Eva White, Asst. Superindendent East Region
We at Ruby Thomas Elementary can not thank you enough for what you do to help our children. We wish it was more. The hardest thing I have to do each week is tell a child there isn't enough food to go around.
Shelly Hernandez, Ruby Thomas Elementary
The greatest gift is to see the children at my two schools each week. I talk with them and learn about their week. To see them grow and prosper is amazing and I'm blessed that Caring 4 Kids lets me be a small part of their lives.
