Thank you to Check City and their fantastic food drive.  Throughout the month of October, the 27 Southern Nevada branches have been collecting food for Caring 4 Kids Foundation. The community donated more than 10,000 food items and $1,000.  Check City decided to tripple the cash donation...that's $3,000! The much-needed food and donations brought in by Check City are already in distribution to the kids and families of the Las Vegas Valley! Thank you, again!

Thank you to Check City - Las Vegas!

District Managers, Managers and Tellers alike were filled with the spirit of helping Sept. 29.  Be on the lookout for the more than 26 Valley Check City locations as they start a food drive to assist our more than 300 homeless and in-need school children.

Watch the CW starting October 5 to see how you, too, can help by donating specific food items.  All 26 locations of Check City will be collection zones.  These fantastic folks are making a difference...are you?

Symantec Corporation Celebrates Back To School

A massive Thank You goes out to the more than 1,800 engineers of Symantec Corporation. The generous men and women attended their yearly conference at MGM Grand late August. The leaders of the corporation wanted to give back to the city that was hosting them.

This amazing company donated 600 adult-size back packs, school supplies and money to help area homeless and in-need children.  With this donation, we were able to issue all of 12 schools we service all of the back packs their children needed!

Symantec Corporation, a computer programing company, didn't have to reach out to the Las Vegas community. We are touched that they did and could not be more proud to consider them official Community Partners.

TESTIMONIALS :
I believe that by feeding a child, we feed our own spirit, we strengthen everyone's future, and we model what we are hoping to teach. I urge you to show that indeed this grassroots model can make a difference in any city, for any children, for all who participate.
Eva White, Asst. Superindendent East Region
We at Ruby Thomas Elementary can not thank you enough for what you do to help our children. We wish it was more. The hardest thing I have to do each week is tell a child there isn't enough food to go around.
Shelly Hernandez, Ruby Thomas Elementary
The greatest gift is to see the children at my two schools each week. I talk with them and learn about their week. To see them grow and prosper is amazing and I'm blessed that Caring 4 Kids lets me be a small part of their lives.
